OK first of all, I'm typically too lazy to write reviews for products I buy. But I just had to write one for this because the reviews on here do not justify the product. Many complain about the -GULP- loud sounds but really it isn't that bad at all. Nothing is perfect but I give this 4 stars because it performs well. The moisture isn't overkill like some other humidifiers I've where everything felt wet. This humidifier keeps the room moist fast and the 2 tanks last the entire night/day. And refilling it was a breeze compared to other humidifiers we'd bought. It doesn't spill much at all cause you could take the tanks on both sides with ease, just as you would be holding a gallon of distilled water from the store. It has a handle on it for easy handling. As for the small opening to the tanks, I agree but hey, nothing is perfect and at this price, you would just hope that it performs well and with no major issues. I would say go ahead, this is a good humidifier to get. In fact, I came on the website planning on getting another for another bedroom!Customer Review: Best Humidifier We've Ever Had!!

We've had ours for about 3 months. It's quiet, clean, easy to fill, and very efficient. It can be filled in the kitchen sink in less than 2 minutes. No additives required. It's output is about 2 gallons a day and I haven't heard my wife complain at all about those little dry-skin cracks she used to get on her fingers. If the so-called glug-glug noise really bothers you, you need a white noise machine for sleeping.Customer Review: Couldn't be more pleased

I really love this humidifier. It pumps out a tremendous amount of water, it's durable, easy to clean, and awfully quiet. I would buy another one again in a heartbeat if I neeeded another -- but this one does such a fantastic job of keeping my whole apartment nice and temperate.Customer Review: Works Great!

I have been using the Vornado for about a week now, and my entire apartment is nice and humid. In Wisconsin, it's really dry during the winter and now I have to turn the humidifier down because of moisture on the windows! I would recommend using Humiditreat and Humidiclean to clean it and prolong the life. A company called R.P.S. Products makes the humidifier treatments.The humidifier is quiet, really pumps moisture into the air, and is easy to refill while still running. Three fan settings are useful, the humidity control knob doesn't seem to mean much, I would reccomend a hydrometer to keep a comfortable level in your home.

The glug glug noise is very noticeable and kept me up at night.The water containers are somewhat opaque and don't let you see
the water level very well. As other reviewers have noticed,
the opening is not very big, so it takes a while to fill up
the containers.
Worst of all, after I turned it on, my eyes and throat started
to get really irritated. After one day of that, I had to give
up and return it.
