I was at Costco shopping for a fan for our den. We have 11 foot ceilings and needed something to help keep it cooler. I live in Alabama and our AC bill in July and August is huge.
I noticed the Vornado (210 model) was $69.95 and picked it up on the recommendation of a Costco employee who was passing by.
The amount of air this product will move is outstanding! It creates a breeze in the entire room. Put it behind a chair and turn it on and you will never want to go without it.
Highly recommended and I am going to buy another for the kitchen.
Description of Vornado 750B Ultimate Air Circulator
Quiet, stylish, and built of durable plastic, this big device circulates air throughout the largest rooms at home or at the office. Use it alone or with an air conditioner to cool down in the summer and to circulate heat evenly throughout a room in winter. Its powerful 112-watt motor combines with a deep-pitch propeller and a cunning grill design to move air in a tight beam up to 75 feet. For moving air up or down a stairwell or circulating air from floor to ceiling, the head pivots from an angle slightly below horizontal to straight up. It has an infinitely variable speed control, from low through high.
