Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Vornado CR1-0094-41 Flippi V6 Air Circulator, Passion RedCustomer Review: It's pain to use Summary: 2 Stars
As other's have mentioned, it's loud. It's a desk fan, it's on my desk, near my ears, and it creates a lot of noise in my otherwise quiet office.
But that's not the real downside. It's the controls. They SUCK.
There is a little wheel thing near the base that you use to turn on and off and change the level. It's impossible to use with one hand, so you have to *pick the fan up* in order to turn it on/off/up/down.
Customer Review: Not that powerful Summary: 2 Stars
When I read the advertisement for this product, I thought it would be perfect to cool my laptop, as I use it for long hours as a desktop. Well, the thing has to stay very close to help cool it. It is not as powerful as I thought it would be. I would recommend people try other products before buying this one. Moreover, when I turn it off I realize it is not that quiet.
Customer Review: Not so gresat Summary: 2 Stars
The Vornado V6 Flippi Fan has much less power than I anticipated. It is hard to turn on & off. That requires 2 hands, which is NOT what I wanted for a bedside fan for middle of the night hot flashes. Its OK for day time, very close-up fanning. Quite over priced for the performance.
Customer Review: Noisy on highspeed Summary: 2 Stars
At night my wife uses this pretty little fan. On the low setting it is fairly quiet, but on the high setting the sound is enough to keep me awake. I have the fan sitting on a thick resilient foam pad and that does help, but the highspeed setting is usless.
Customer Review: Returned it Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this fan with hope to use it on vacation. It was small and would fit in my suitcase easily. Since it was a vornado I thought it would be very powerful. Boy, was I wrong! The fan put out very little air. It cost a lot and doesn't really work that well so I returned it. I was very disappointed in this vornado fan.
